Creating a File Profile and Policy
Here you can set a file profile and policies.
To get started:
- Go to Policies > File Profiles > + New Profile.

}
]
}
[/block] - In the Name field, if for example you want this to be only PDFs, you can name it as onlypdf. Note that the Name field cannot contain spaces.
- In the Extension Selector area, in the Available section, you can select the pdf option, and then move it over to either the Include or Exclude section, using the arrow keys. In this example we’ll use Include. This will include only PDFs, and will not transfer any other files.

}
[/block] - Click Create when finished.
- In the main File Profiles screen, click Apply at the bottom, to apply your pending changes. Note that applying the changes will take as long as what you previously set in the Frequency and Raw Frequency for your Flow Policy - as well as the amount and size of the files you’re transferring, etc.
- You can now go back to your Windows shared folder to see your applied changes.
Note: You can also check the Debug Log (Logs > Debug), to ensure that the files are in line to be processed.
