# Antivirus Installation on DMAX

It is permitted to install antivirus software on the DMAX system, provided the following configuration is applied:

## Required Exceptions

To ensure the proper operation of DMAX, the antivirus must be configured to exclude the following directories from real-time scanning, scheduled scans, and any other security operations:

* /home/dmax/DefenderMax
* /mnt

> These exclusions are necessary to prevent performance degradation and avoid interference with core DMAX processes.
>
> Failure to configure these exceptions may result in data access issues or system instability.
>
> Please verify these exclusions are in place immediately after antivirus installation.
